Collaborative research with KERI on Li2ZnSb interlayer for all-solid-state batteries published in ACS Energy Letters.
Our collaborative research with Dr. Ki-Hoon Nam’s team at the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI) on stabilizing the Li metal/solid electrolyte interface has been published in ACS Energy Letters.
The study introduces a Li2ZnSb interlayer to address the critical challenge of interface degradation in all-solid-state batteries. AEML contributed to this work by performing advanced electron microscopy analysis of the sensitive Li metal/Li2ZnSb/Li6PS5Cl interface. By employing specialized techniques to minimize beam-induced sample damage, we successfully characterized the interfacial microstructure and its evolution, providing key insights into the interface stabilization mechanism.
These findings offer a promising strategy for achieving long-cycle-life and high-energy-density all-solid-state lithium metal batteries.
